- ZeleNatura - arrangement and furnishing of a terraced garden The town of Kastav, as part of the ZeleNatura project, financed by the Interreg Slovenia-Croatia 2021-2027 program, is arranging the neglected and unused green area between the old core and the elementary school and turns it into a meeting place for citizens of all generations and a school garden where the biodiversity of the program area will be interpreted. The investment is defined through the main project 'Terrace park development' from 2025. The scope of the investment includes item no. 4359, 4360 and 4361, k.o. Kastav, where there are neglected terraced areas next to the building of the Elementary School 'Milan Brozović'. In the southeastern part of the complex there is a partially landscaped garden. The cost estimate includes preparation works, earthworks, concrete and reinforced concrete works, stone cutting works, locksmith works, horticulture, supply of seedlings and equipment. Access to the scope is difficult due to the characteristics of the surfaces within the scope, as well as the proximity of the school, which is why it is necessary when planning works and phases take into account the need to use access roads during the execution of works.
