- The project includes the entire process of transportation, characterization, treatment and conditioning of a part of the low and medium radioactive waste (NSRAO) from the Krško NPP generated until 31 December 2023, the disposal of which is the responsibility of the Republic of Croatia in accordance with the Interstate Agreement between the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Croatia. of Slovenia on regulating the status and other legal relations related to the investment, use and decommissioning of the Krško NPP. The activities covered by the project are carried out with the aim of ensuring permanently safe, controlled and coordinated waste disposal, while respecting all technical, safety and legal requirements of the Republic of Croatia, the European Union and the host country of the processing plant.
