- The subject of procurement are: PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT.
The use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory when performing work tasks where the risks to the health and safety of workers are not brought to an acceptable level by applying the basic rules of work safety and the appropriate organization of work tasks. Adabir of personal protective equipment is carried out on the basis of the risks determined in the risk assessment for a specific workplace, and the selected personal protective equipment must ensure the highest possible level of worker protection, with the condition that it enables the normal development of work activities and that it is comfortable for the worker.
In order to secure himselfand the safety and health protection of workers, the personal protective equipment used must:
•be designed and manufactured in accordance with the prescribed technical requirements,
•be purpose-built for protection against expected risks and must not cause greater risks for the safety of workers;... .
