• Other drugs (not included in the categories numbered 1 and 17) - XV - joint procurement. The subject of procurement are drugs that are not on the Basic and Supplementary list of drugs of the Croatian Health Insurance Institute (hereinafter referred to as HZZO), but for the same, it is necessary to obtain the consent of the Committee for Medicines (medicines that have approval but are used outside the prescribed indication and medicines that have approval but are outside the Basic and Supplementary list of medicines), and for certain groups of medicines and Consent for the interventional import of the medicine, in accordance with Article 129 of the Medicines Act (Official Gazette 76/13, 90/14, 100/18, 136/25). Interventional entry and import of medicines means entry and import of medicines that do not have approval for marketing in the Republic of Croatia. Agency for medicines and medical products (hereinafter: HALMED) can exceptionally give consent for the introduction or import of a medicine that has not been approved for marketing in the Republic of Croatia, and which will be used for the treatment of patients, in the following cases: - for necessary cases of individual treatment with a medicine prescribed by the medical doctor or dental medicine doctor who carries out the treatment at his own risk, - in case of medically justified need, for the protection of people's health, - just in case natural disasters or other extraordinary conditions, - for clinical trials.
