Description:
This project plans to modernize the public lighting system owned by the City of Dubrovnik, according to the main public lighting modernization project, number 54/21 from December 2021, made by the business entity MAGISTER d.o.o. (Appendix 3. Procurement documentation).
Public lighting modernization projectThe objective of the City of Dubrovnik is to ensure significant savings in electricity, reduce CO2 emissions, improve lighting technical parameters and traffic safety conditions, and reduce potential risks of environmental pollution due to the use of environmentally unacceptable lighting fixtures (e.g. sodium and/or mercurynot gas discharge bulbs), prevent light pollution and the use of hazardous substances.
The project envisages the procurement of 3,739 new LED lighting fixtures, dismantling of existing public lighting, installation of new lighting fixtures, environmentally friendly and in accordance with environmental protection regulations disposal ofpackaging and electrical and electronic (EE) waste.
