Expanded bioatlas maintenance
In order to improve environmental and nature information systems, as well as integration of different environmental and nature integrations, the Bioatlas Information System based on the Atlas of Living Australia software was established which allows storage, editing, review and download data on type field observations and additionally includes a species catalog as a central place to record information about species in the Republic of Croatia and a module reference for centralized data records (references). The system is integrated with the existing components of the information system of nature protection (IZP) into a coherent and operating usable whole. The Ministry of Environment and Green Transition has reported a strong nature project - strengthening activity to preserve nature for co -financing from the Competitiveness Program and Cohesion 2021-2027. The aim of the project is to adjust the nature protection system to achieve the EU's certificate for biodiversity until 2030 and fulfillment of liabilities arising from the EU Regulation on Nature Renewal, and is achieved by improving the network of protected areas and areas of the Natura 2000 ecological network, Further digitization of the nature protection system, the habitat and the ecosystem and the improvement of monitoring indicators related to biodiversity, strengthening the management and control of invasive foreign species, and the improvement and implementation of the program education program in nature protection.
