- The subject of procurement is the supply of electricity.
In order to stimulate the production of energy from renewable sources so that it becomes more competitive with energy obtained from conventional sources and incentives building new sources of renewable energy and achieving sustainable development, the Client has determined that the electricity must contain the above-mentioned minimum percentage of electricity from renewable sources.
Renewable energy sources are renewable non-fossil energy sources, i.e. wind energy, solar energy, aerothermal, geothermal and hydrothermal energy, sea energy, water stream energy, energy from biomass, gas from waste landfills, gas from wastewater treatment plants and biogas (Act on the Electricity Market, "Official Gazette", number 111/21, 83/23, 17/25).
As confirmation fulfillment of the conditions on the origin of electricity, the selected tenderer (Supplier) is obliged to deliver to the Customer a valid certificate from the Register of Guarantees of Origin of Electricity, issued by an independent body for issuing guarantees of origin of electricity, upon completion of the delivery of electricity of energy, by which it is confirmed that at least 50% of the delivered electricity (that is, the quantity the percentage share of electricity specified in the offer of the selected bidder) was produced from renewable energy sources.
