- Chemicals for thermal energy plants in accordance with the entire procurement documentation. Chemicals for thermal energy plants in accordance with the entire procurement documentation. Thermal energy plants use chemicals to prepare water in plants for chemical preparation of water, for water treatment in waste water treatment plants and for water conditioning - feed and boiler water, hot spring water and cooling water (removal of oxygen from water and adjustment of pH value) in order to prevent corrosion process. Hydrochloric acid and sodium lye are used in the plant for chemical water preparation for the regeneration of ion exchangers and hydrated lime for decarbonization in the water pretreatment process. The chemicals used for wastewater treatment are saline acid and sodium lye and hydrated lime for the purpose of adjusting the pH value and trimercapto-s-triazine trisodium salt for precipitation of heavy metals. The solution is used to condition feed water, boiler water, hot water and cooling water erythorbic acid and 2-diethyl-aminoethanol, and iron (II) sulfate heptahydrate for protection of condenser tubes. Ammonia water is used as a reagent to reduce nitrogen oxides in flue gas (DeNOx). In accordance with the needs of thermal power plants, it is possible to use other chemicals than those listed.
