- The subject of procurement is an audit of the annual separate and consolidated financial statements for 2025, 2026 and 2027 with at least two independent audit societies.
taxpayers Legal audits are obliged to appoint the audit company and to conclude an audit agreement no later than three months before the end of the business year preceded by the business year whose annual financial statements are the subject of audit (Article 41 (1).
Also, the transitional and final provisions of the Law Amendments to the Audit Act (OG 27/24) stipulates that for the business years preceding the business year that begins on January 1, 2026, the lawsuit of the legal audit are appointed by the audit company and conclude an audit agreement no later than three months before the end of the reporting period at the end of the reporting period which legal audit refers, in accordance with the law governing companies (Article 46, paragraph 3). In this case, the initial engagement is contracted for a period of at least one year (Article 46, paragraph 4). The first audit agreement with an initial engagement of at least two years, referred to in the article 40, paragraph 2 of the Audit Act shall be concluded for a business year that begins on January 1, 2026 or after that date (Article 46, paragraph 5).
